Hotelogix acquires new partner GOIÁS TURISMO, in Brazil

Hotelogix, the cloud based property management software pleasingly announces its new acquired Channel Partner, Goias Turismo in Brazil. Research released by David Scowsill, President & CEO, World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) at Fórum Panrotas, forecasts that the Brazilian Travel & Tourism economy increased by 7.8% this year. Seeing the accelerating market Hotelogix decided to invest strengthening regional as well as international tourism.

Goiás Turismo sales and internet manager, Igor Medonca elaborates some crucial points that will increase the Brazilian tourism revenue, in the year 2013 Fifa Confederation Cup, 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics Games. Mendonça chose the software for four pivotal reasons as it is easy to use and easy to adapt, low cost implementation, cloud-based solution and access to distribution tools (GDS, Channel Management and others.

Igor Mendonça explains why Hotelogix’s arrival at Brazilian mid-west is unexplainably important, due to a strong inbound market in this region quoting the same he says, “Brazilian mid-west has a high touristic potential. However, many cities with tons of attractive sightseeing places don’t have a clue of how they can reach the potential market. Also, companies have little awareness when it comes to technological tools for operations optimization and revenue enhancement that has to be focused on.”

Mendonça also emphasized on how Hotelogix solution is valuable for the Brazilian Hospitality Market. According to the Channel Partner, the system optimizes the main operations (such as Frontdesk, Housekeeping, POS, Reports and many others) and creates a higher online visibility through other services provided, such as Web-booking Engine, GDS and Channel Manager.
