Hotelogix is proud to announce that the expansion of their customer base in the Caribbean. Rafjam’s Bed and Breakfast in Kingston, and Palm Bay Guest House and Restaurant in Montego Bay are the newest Jamaican clients signed by Hotelogix's resellers in Jamaica, Caribtek Inc.

Rafjam’s Bed and Breakfast is ranked as the number 2 Bed and Breakfast in Kingston as per Tripadvisor. The quaint property tucked away in the beautiful hills of Blue Mountain opened 4 years ago and offer a variety of activities for their guests ranging from hikes and tours, to fitness and culinary classes.

Rafjam, switched over to Hotelogix’s property management system from a paper based process which was quite taxing for their limited staff especially, since they needed to manage various points of sales such as their restaurant and bar, room service, souvenir shop, activities, transportation and so on. They are extremely pleased to have signed up with Hotelogix, since the PMS can now help them manage all these areas effectively as well as their daily check-in and check-outs and the inbuilt POS’s can manage their various revenue outlets with ease.

The PMS were put through a thorough screening which covered several points ranging from costs, interfaces available, features and limitations with regard to the number of users. From the final four systems, Hotelogix was the only one which scored high in all the required categories and that too at a competitive price. Hotelogix was able to provide integrated POS from restaurants and bars, support for multiple currencies and interface with accounting systems, none of which the other competitors could offer.

Another selling point was, that the hotel appreciated that Hotelogix enabled them to be integrated with websites like Travelocity and Expedia so that when potential guests chose Montego Bay as a destination, Palm Bay would show up in the list of hotels and a reservation could be made instantly.
