Hotelogix to launch mobile PMS app

The new mobile app will provide Hotelogix users with comprehensive control over all front desk tasks, directly from their smartphone.
Designed for use by independent properties and groups, the mobile PMS has a simple, clean interface that allows hoteliers to handle a variety of day-to-day tasks such as check-ins, check-outs, reservations, night auditing and so on. The gentle learning curve ensures that even non tech-savvy members of the hotel’s staff are able to understand the system. This broadens the property’s scope for employment, enabling the hotel to derive the same level of productivity from less experienced staff. Hotelogix estimates that this lowers the cost of employment by as much as 60%.
Beyond improving management efficiency, the app also lowers costs by reducing infrastructure expenses and saves time for the staff by enabling them to carry out various activities without having to depend on the availability of a conventional workstation.
With clients in over 100 countries, Hotelogix has redefined the simplicity of cloud migration with an industry-first evaluation process that takes under a minute to get started with.
“Empowering hoteliers with powerful, yet simple tools that can be used without much technical know-how has always been our primary focus. The launch of our mobile PMS is yet another step in this direction – it’s almost as easy to use as WhatsApp,” comments Prabhash Bhatnagar, the company’s founder.
Besides improving processes at the management level, the app can potentially better the guest experience as well – front desk agents can use the mobile camera to scan IDs of over 80 countries and check guests in and out much faster, even if the front offices are busy.
